Enjoy a sewing class or club in our friendly and comfortable purpose built classroom, I like to think of it as more of a funroom than a classroom.
While you will learn a lot you will also have a lot of fun. Our classes cater to all needs and speeds. Some classes are more suited to beginners and early sewers and some are for those who like to be challenged.
FEATURE QUILT
We teach a feature quilt each year, these are given our own colour and style touch, but, of course you can do it in any colour way you choose.
CLUBS
We run 3 monthly clubs, a SEWING CLUB, MACHINE EMBROIDERY CLUB & PATCHWORK CLUB. These clubs run for ten months of the year, once a month.
FEATURE TEACHER
Each year we have a feature teacher workshop, Leesa Chandler & Carolyn Sharkey have been some of the recent tutors, these workshops are very well received and an enormous ammount of enjoyment is had by all.
PATCHWORK
We regularly run PATCHWORK FOR BEGINNERS classes, followed by a variety of interesting patchwork quilts to build up your skill level and confidence..
WORKSHOPS
Pop-up and one day workshops are also part of our class list.
KNOW YOUR SEWING MACHINE
This is a series of up to three classes designed to introduce you to your new sewing machine. It takes the mystic out of all the controls and features on you sewing machine. Particularly designed for buyers of new sewing machines. This class is free if you have purchased your new machine from Shepparton Sewing Centre.
